Plastic Injection Molding Equipment EQUIPMENT
The main mechanism and process of plastic injection molding MAIN MECHANISM
Preheating feeding of plastic pellets:
Put the plastic pellets into the funnel and preheat them to dry them and save melting time.
Melting and mixing:
The plastic pellets in the funnel are driven into the heated round tube, and the piston or screw is used to advance. The plastic pellets pass through the heated tube and are completely melted and evenly mixed by the torpedo installed in the tube.
Injection flow:
The molten plastic is driven by a piston or screw to generate high pressure and is injected into the closed mold cavity through a nozzle.
Compression and holding:
After injection, the screw or piston will not retract immediately, but will maintain the pressure in the mold cavity. It will return to its original position after the gate cools and solidifies.
Mold cooling:
There are cooling water channels inside the mold to cool the high-temperature molten plastic injected into the mold cavity, reducing it to a temperature with sufficient strength (the strength of plastic is a function of temperature and time).
Mold opening and ejection:
After the plastic drops to an appropriate temperature, the mold can be opened and ejected to take out the finished product.
Post-processing:
trimming off waste from the finished product or performing other finishing operations. Assembling the finished product.
